The MATROSIK tomato variety is a medium-maturing indeterminate type with original pepper-shaped fruits of striped coloring, possessing a rich and sweet flavor. The fruits weigh between 100 to 120 grams, sometimes reaching 200 grams, and are characterized by a dense structure. Their bright orange-red color and unusual shape add elegance to any dish, especially salads and sandwiches, and make them ideal for canning.
Plants of the MATROSIK variety can reach heights of 50 cm in open ground and 170-190 cm in greenhouses, due to their indeterminate growth type. The first cluster forms above the eighth leaf, and subsequent clusters appear every two leaves. The maturation period is 110-115 days from germination to the first harvest, allowing for fruit collection from August to September. The variety has high yield, reaching 9.6-10 kg per square meter, making it attractive for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses.
