Description Matilda
The MATILDA tomato variety is mid-early and productive, intended for cultivation in greenhouses and open ground, primarily in southern regions. The vegetation period is 90 to 110 days from germination. The plant is indeterminate, requires staking and regular pinching to form 2-3 stems. Inflorescences are complex, forming 15 to 20 fruits per cluster, each weighing 30-40 grams.

The MATILDA tomato fruits are round and have an unusual brownish-red, so-called "cognac" color. They are medium density, very tasty, sweet, aromatic, and juicy with a distinct fruity flavor. This variety belongs to the cocktail type of tomatoes and is recommended for fresh consumption, as well as for making salads and homemade preserves.

For cultivation, seeds are sown in seedlings in March, transplanted at the first true leaf stage, and planted in greenhouses in May. Seeds retain viability up to 10 years under optimal storage conditions, though it is recommended to increase the sowing rate at the end of their shelf life. This approach ensures a stable and high-quality harvest of delicious and aromatic tomatoes.
