Tomato variety Kudesnik is medium-early, and the first harvest can be collected after 108-114 days of germination. This variety was developed by Russian breeder Lyubov Myazina, a candidate of agricultural sciences, and is distinguished by high resilience and adaptability. The plant is semi-determinate, low-branched, reaching a height of 150-170 centimeters, disease-resistant, and good at fruit set. Kudesnik can be grown in greenhouses, forming 1-2 stems, or in open ground in southern regions with mandatory support. In greenhouses, fruits are larger and ripen earlier.
The fruits of tomato Kudesnik have a slightly elongated oval shape, neat and even, with dense flesh. The weight of one tomato ranges from 90 to 115 grams, although occasionally specimens up to 200 grams are found. At the stage of biological maturity, the fruits are colored pinkish-purple. The flesh is juicy, meaty, with closed chambers, containing a high level of lycopene and antioxidants. The taste of the tomatoes is rated as very good, sweet with honey notes and a slight acidity. In warm and sunny summers, the fruits acquire a particularly pronounced honey flavor, and even in less favorable seasons, they remain sweeter than many other varieties.
Tomato Kudesnik is versatile in use. It is excellent for canning, pickling, and fresh consumption. Due to its juicy flesh, these tomatoes produce excellent juices, sauces, dressings, and soup preparations. Moreover, the variety has an attractive market appearance, making it popular among consumers and recommended for sale and industrial processing.
