Tomato Kubanets F1 is a mid-early determinate hybrid with cube-shaped fruits, ripening 100–105 days after germination. The plant is strong, low-growing, 60–70 cm tall, with short internodes. The first flower forms above the 5th–6th leaf, and the fruit stalks lack a joint. Fruits have a cube shape, smooth and firm texture, bright red color without green spot at the peduncle, weighing 140–150 g. They are two- or three-chambered, with excellent flavor, making them suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for whole-fruit canning and processing.
The hybrid has high yield — up to 8–10 kg per square meter in open ground. Tomato Kubanets is resistant to a range of diseases, including tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), verticillium and fusarium wilt, tip and root rot, as well as bacterial spot. Additionally, the variety exhibits heat tolerance, stress resistance, and salt tolerance, allowing successful cultivation under various climatic conditions and ensuring good fruit transportability.
This tomato is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. Due to its firm flesh and resistance to cracking, fruits maintain their market appearance and quality during transport and storage. Dry matter content is 5.6–5.8%, vitamin C — 18–19.2 mg, sugars — 3.3–3.6%, and acidity — 0.43–0.47%, providing a balanced flavor and high nutritional value.
