Tomato SANFREDO

SANFREDO is a medium-early indeterminate tomato hybrid, intended for cultivation in greenhouses with extended cropping cycles and on light culture. The plant is vigorous, with a strong vegetative type and short internodes, which promotes rapid flower cluster development. Leaves are horizontally positioned, and clusters are flat; it is recommended to pinch back to 5 fruits for optimal yield formation. The hybrid exhibits resistance to powdery mildew, fusarium wilt, tomato mosaic virus, tip and root rot, brown spot, and verticillium wilt, ensuring stable and reliable cultivation even at elevated temperatures. SANFREDO fruits are large, weighing from 150 to 180 grams, with a flat-round shape, smooth, glossy, and firm skin. In biological ripeness, they turn intensely red both inside and out, without a stem scar, facilitating harvest both as clusters and individually. The fruits have good flavor, and their density and market characteristics ensure excellent post-harvest storage, making this tomato popular for both fresh markets and processing. The SANFREDO hybrid features high yields, reaching 6.9 kg per square meter, and can withstand various greenhouse climatic conditions, including winter-spring, spring-summer, summer-autumn, and extended cropping cycles. Due to its qualities and disease resistance, this tomato is a reliable choice for professional vegetable growers seeking a stable and high-quality yield under intensive cultivation conditions.
