Tomato Dantina F1 is a tall, early, indeterminate hybrid developed by Syngenta Seeds from the Netherlands. It is suitable for cultivation both in open and protected soil, including first and second crops. The plant is compact and balanced, forming up to 14 productive trusses with 5-6 fruits each. Fruits are round, uniform, bright red with a shiny skin, free of green spots at the stem attachment, weighing 170–200 grams. The flesh is multi-chambered, dense and meaty, with a tangy-sweet flavor and a pleasant strong aroma. Tomatoes have excellent marketability and transportability, maintaining quality and appearance for a long time.
Dantina F1 exhibits high resistance to diseases such as gray mold, wilting, cladosporiasis, and powdery mildew. The hybrid adapts well to various growing conditions and positively responds to intensive agronomy. Plants require pinching, stem tying, moderate watering, soil loosening, mulching, and mineral fertilization. The optimal planting scheme is 70x80 cm with a density of 2-3 plants per square meter, ensuring yields of up to 10-12 kg per plant. Transplanted seedlings can be planted in open ground at temperatures not lower than +25 degrees.
Tomatoes Dantina F1 ripen 55 days after transplanting seedlings, and in the second crop, technical maturity occurs 75 days after germination. They are widely used for fresh consumption as well as processing — making juices, sauces, pastes, canning, and pickling. Due to their high content of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, these tomatoes are beneficial for lowering cholesterol levels and preventing oncological diseases. Their juicy and rich flavor makes them an excellent choice for salads and other culinary dishes.
