Shanty F1

Shanty F1 tomato is an early determinate variety of plum type, intended for cultivation in open ground. The plant is strong and bushy, which ensures ease of care and harvesting. Fruits have an oval shape, measuring approximately 70-80 mm in length and 50-60 mm in diameter, weighing between 100 to 150 grams. Their rich red color and high density make them attractive to consumers and suitable for long-term storage without loss of quality.

Shanty F1 is characterized by very high yield potential and is suitable for spring-summer cultivation, expanding farmers' options in various climatic conditions. The absence of green shoulders on the fruits indicates full ripening and high product quality. The variety is included in the State Register for the North Caucasus region, confirming its adaptability and effectiveness in open ground cultivation in this area.

Special attention has been given to the resistance of Shanty F1 tomato to several diseases. It exhibits high resistance to verticillium wilt (Vd), fusarium (Fol races 1 and 2), gray leaf spot (Pst), as well as medium resistance to tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV), bronze disease, and tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV). These characteristics make this variety a reliable choice for farmers aiming to minimize crop losses and reduce the use of chemical protection agents.
