Golda

Tomato Golda is an early-maturing, tall variety with strong stems and abundant foliage, successfully grown both in open fields and under cover. The plant is light-loving and heat-loving, prefers loamy, fertilized soils and moderate watering. Golda is distinguished by high resistance to viral and fungal diseases, as well as good adaptation to various weather conditions, including heat and lower air temperatures. Plant height reaches 1.2-1.4 meters, and the vegetation period ranges from 65 to 75 days depending on growing conditions.

The fruits of tomato Golda have round or flat-round shape, and weight varies from 20-25 grams for cherry-type hybrids to 110-200 grams for standard plants. Their color is golden-yellow with characteristic blue-black covering around the stem and sides, and pink veins appear on the cross-section. The flesh is juicy, with a pleasant honey-candy flavor and distinct aroma, characterized by high sugar and antioxidant anthocyanin content, beneficial for normalizing intestinal function. The fruits exhibit good resistance to cracking and moderate transportability.

Tomato Golda is recommended to be grown from seedlings, sown at the beginning of March to mid-April in trays, greenhouses or boxes, with seed depth less than 1-1.5 cm. Transplanting to the final location is carried out after forming strong seedlings. Main uses include fresh consumption, salad and other dish preparation, as well as canning and market sales due to their attractive appearance and unmatched taste qualities.
