GIANT'S HEART STRAWBERRY

The 'Giant's Heart Strawberry' tomato variety is mid-late maturing and suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and open ground, primarily in southern regions. The plant is indeterminate, requiring mandatory support and training into a single stem with removal of all suckers. To control growth, it is recommended to pinch the growth point at the end of the vegetative period. This variety has a prolonged fruiting period, allowing harvest over an extended time.

The fruits are large, heart-shaped, weighing from 270 to 320 grams. They have a rich strawberry color, multi-chambered structure, fleshy and juicy flesh with a pronounced sweet flavor and aroma. Such tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption, salad preparation, as well as for canning in their own juice, making them versatile in cooking.

Sowing seeds for seedlings is recommended in early March, with transplanting at the stage of the first true leaf. Seedling transplanting into greenhouses occurs at the end of April to early May, following a planting scheme of 40x60 cm. Seeds of this variety retain germination up to 10 years under proper storage conditions; however, after expiration, it is recommended to increase the sowing rate to ensure good germination.
