Tomato FURYOZA

Precision farming with Furiosa tomatoes

The Furiosa hybrid from Enza Limited is designed for growers who prioritize consistent, high-yield results in the premium fresh produce market. Standing out from competitors that typically offer 150-180g fruits, Furiosa delivers robust, beef-type tomatoes weighing over 200 grams, all while maintaining a flawless round shape that consumers prefer.

Advanced disease resistance

Developed by Enza Zaden Beheer B.V., this hybrid is engineered to tackle the most common threats in greenhouse agriculture. Its genetic profile offers a distinct advantage against pathogens, including:

• High resistance to late blight (phytophthora);
• Proven efficacy against powdery mildew;
• Strong protection against fruit rot under standard agricultural practices.

This built-in resilience allows producers to optimize their spray schedules, reducing input costs while maintaining the integrity of the harvest.

Logistics-ready production

The biggest challenge with large-fruit varieties is post-harvest handling. Furiosa excels in this area, offering a shelf life of over 30 days. Its dense, high-quality structure ensures that fruit remains market-ready even after long-distance transport. This makes it an ideal choice for farmers working with retail chains where quality standards and shelf longevity are non-negotiable.

Furiosa is the optimal solution for commercial operations seeking a balance between heavy, high-value fruits and reliability. It is built for those who cannot afford to gamble on crops and need a proven, stable performer that arrives at the destination in pristine condition.
