Tomato PILGRIM 8

Pilgrim 8 is a medium-early tomato hybrid with a determinate growth type, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in low polytunnels. The vegetation period is 105-110 days, allowing for harvest within relatively short timeframes. The plant forms dense fruits that withstand transportation well, making this variety attractive for commercial cultivation and sales.

The fruits of tomato Pilgrim 8 have a round shape and are pink when ripe. The average fruit weight ranges from 250 to 300 grams, significantly larger than some other varieties. This weight and fruit density ensure high market value and convenience for various culinary purposes.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to a range of diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, fusarium, cladosporeiosis, and gall nematode. This enhances cultivation reliability and reduces the need for frequent protective treatments. The yield reaches 20.3 kg per square meter, indicating its high productivity and efficiency in agronomic terms.
