Cherry Blossom

Tomato Cherry Blossom — a mid-season determinate hybrid from Japanese breeding company Sakata, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. The vegetation period is 90-100 days, and the plant height reaches up to 80 cm. The bushes are strong, lush, and bushy, which contributes to high yields under proper care, including watering, fertilization, and protection against diseases and pests.

The Cherry Blossom fruits have a round shape and bright red color, with an average weight of 20-30 grams. The skin is firm, preventing cracking and ensuring good fruit preservation during long-distance transport. The flesh is tasty and aromatic, making this hybrid ideal for fresh consumption and whole-fruit canning.

The hybrid is highly resistant to common tomato diseases, including root nematodes and fusarium, significantly simplifying care and increasing yield stability. Under favorable conditions, one plant can produce up to 6 kg of fruit. Cherry Blossom seeds are small, with 300-330 seeds per gram, which is convenient for sowing and planning planting schedules.
