Tomato Chinouk

A gastronomic favorite for those who value shape and taste

The «Chinok» tomato from Enza Limited breeders is a choice for those accustomed to working with the professional segment of indeterminate tomatoes. Unlike standard round hybrids, this variety catches the eye with its pronounced heart-shaped structure and deep brown color, which has become a hallmark of premium vegetable produce.

Key Specifications

• Weight profile: Consistently large fruits weighing over 200 grams, making them ideal for the fresh market and restaurant presentation.
• Cultivation technology: The indeterminate plant type requires training and pruning, but the yield per square meter justifies the labor investment.
• Ripening cycle: 120–130 days, placing it in the medium-late segment. This provides a harvest during a period when the market is already saturated with standard red tomatoes but is seeking something more exotic.

The main strength of «Chinok» lies in its balance of sugars and organic acids. Brown tomatoes are traditionally considered meatier and richer in flavor than their red counterparts. Using seeds from Enza Limited ensures high germination rates and predictable plant development, which is critical for greenhouse operations.

Who is this tomato for? The variety is targeted at farmers specializing in supplying high-end supermarkets and farm shops. Despite the need for careful maintenance and a longer ripening period, the result—a striking, heavy fruit—allows growers to stand out from the competition. «Chinok» is a commitment to quality over turnover speed.
