Black Pearl

The Black Pearl tomato variety is a tall, indeterminate plant with early maturity and a prolonged fruiting period. The plants grow to significant heights and form long clusters bearing small fruits weighing 30 to 120 grams. The fruits have a distinctive chocolate-brown color, thin skin, and sweet, rich flavor, making them especially appealing for fresh consumption, such as in salads.

This variety is highly resistant to diseases, which simplifies care and increases yield. Due to the high content of lycopene and anthocyanins in the fruits, Black Pearl not only has a vibrant taste but also beneficial antioxidant properties. It is recommended to grow this tomato in greenhouses or under plastic coverings, which promotes a more stable and early harvest.

For planting, seeds are sown in seedbeds in March–April, and after transplanting and formation of 2–3 true leaves, seedlings are planted in greenhouses or open ground in April–June. Plants require staking and pinching to ensure proper bush formation. The fruits of the Black Pearl variety are suitable for canning, pickling, and freezing, although they best express their flavor when eaten fresh.
