Tomato Bit Yug is a medium-late, indeterminate hybrid with a period from emergence to fruiting of 115-120 days. It is recommended for cultivation in plastic and glass greenhouses, allowing for a stable yield under controlled conditions. Sowing for seedlings is carried out at the end of February – beginning of March, with transplanting in the stage of the first true leaf. Additional supplemental lighting is required for successful seedling growth. Transplanting into greenhouses occurs at the end of April, when plants reach an age of 50-55 days. After transplanting, plants must be staked to support their growth and formation.
Tomato Bit Yug is formed as a single stem with removal of all suckers and lower leaves. At the end of the vegetative period, the growth point above the 7th-8th truss is pinched off, leaving two leaves above the last truss. This agronomic technique improves fruit quality and increases yield. Fruits have a flat-round shape, smooth surface, and weight from 180 to 220 grams. They are intended for salad use, making the hybrid attractive for fresh consumption.
Hybrid Bit Yug exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases such as tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium. Planting scheme is 40x60 cm, providing optimal space for each plant's development. Yield per plant reaches 5.5-5.6 kg, indicating high productivity of the variety when properly cared for and agronomic recommendations are followed.
