YURIEVSKY

The tomato variety 'Yurievsky' is a medium-ripening, determinate Russian selection, developed based on a spontaneous mutation of the 'Bakhtemir' variety. The plant is bush-type, 60 to 80 cm tall, requiring mandatory support and regular pinching to ensure a high-quality yield. Leaves are medium-sized, green, and inflorescences are mostly simple, rarely intermediate.

The fruits of the 'Yurievsky' variety have a round shape with a smooth surface. Immature fruits are green, while fully ripe ones turn into a deep red color. The weight of a single fruit varies from 90 to 250 grams depending on growing conditions and agronomic practices. The yield of marketable fruits reaches 5-6 kg per square meter. The variety is suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing into tomato products.

One of the key advantages of this variety is its high resistance to several diseases, including Egyptian mosaic, blossom end rot, Fusarium wilt, tobacco mosaic virus, necrosis, leaf mosaic, and Alternaria. This makes 'Yurievsky' a reliable choice for garden plots and small farms, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield across various regions.
