BEHEMOTH RASPBERRY

Tomato variety 'Behemoth Raspberry' is a hybrid determinate type suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouse or polyethylene greenhouses. Plants reach a height of 70 cm to 1.2 m, with good leafiness and large dark-green leaves. It is recommended to form plants with two stems, carefully tying stems and fruit clusters, and removing side shoots and lower leaves to increase yield.

The fruits of 'Behemoth Raspberry' tomato are large, flat-round, weighing from 240 to 500 grams, sometimes up to 1 kg. Their color ranges from bright raspberry to pink-raspberry, making them especially attractive to consumers. The flesh is juicy, meaty, with a distinct sweet and aromatic flavor, often compared to dessert. The fruits are sugary at the break, containing a small number of seeds.

The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 8.5 kg per square meter in open ground and up to 10.8 kg in polyethylene greenhouses, and with proper agronomic practices, up to 4.5 kg per plant. Fruit ripening occurs 105-110 days after sowing. 'Behemoth Raspberry' is resistant to several diseases, including viral infections, verticillium wilt, and fusarium wilt. Tomatoes of this variety are versatile: they are excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling, canning, juice, ketchup, and tomato paste.
