To successfully grow HECTOR, it is important to correctly determine the seed sowing rate. Typically, it varies within the range of 10-25 kg per hectare, which corresponds to 68-80 thousand seeds per hectare. It is recommended to make a safety allowance of 5-20% in case of plant death during the vegetation period and reseeding of field edges. The sowing rate in thousands of seeds should exceed the desired plant density at the time of harvest by 10-20%, which helps ensure optimal planting density and maximum productivity.

A corn seed unit contains about 80,000 seeds, which allows for easy calculation of the required amount of seeds for sowing a given area. For example, at a sowing rate of 50 thousand seeds per hectare, one bag will suffice for 1.6 hectares, and at a rate of 80 thousand seeds — for 1 hectare.
