Description
The tomato variety 'Altaechka' is a low-growing, determinate plant about 60-70 cm tall, which does not require pinching but needs support. The plant is compact and bushy, making care and cultivation easier both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. This variety is early-maturing, ripening on average in 100-110 days, allowing for a harvest in a short time.
The fruits of tomato 'Altaechka' are large, weighing from 150 to 300 grams, egg-shaped with slight ribbing. Their color is red-magenta, with a thin but sufficiently strong skin. Inside, the fruits have 4-6 seed chambers and contain about 25 seeds. The flavor is rich, sweet, with a distinctly tomato aroma, making this variety especially appealing for fresh consumption.
The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 7-8 kg per square meter, which is a significant indicator for medium-height tomatoes. 'Altaechka' is resistant to diseases and suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, making it an excellent choice for hobby gardeners aiming to obtain a quality and tasty harvest.
