Tomato AMISHKA

Why "Amishka" is a Professional Choice for the Fresh Market

Semi-determinate tomatoes from the Sedek seed company consistently balance plant vigor with maturity speed. The "Amishka" variety, developed by originators S.V. Dubinin and M.I. Kirillov, holds a unique niche in the large-fruited tomato segment. Its primary strength lies in the combination of early maturity (90–100 days) and the ability to produce fruits weighing over 200 grams.

Fruit Characteristics and Appearance

Unlike many early-maturing varieties that tend to produce smaller fruits, "Amishka" consistently maintains a substantial size. The fruit shape ranges from plum-like to distinctly heart-shaped, making it highly attractive for both retail and private sales. Its vibrant pink-red color and firm texture ensure that the harvest can withstand transport over significant distances without losing quality.

Advantages and Growing Tips

• Key Strengths: Excellent transportability, a rare trait for large "heart" tomatoes. Early maturity meets the demand for early-season produce. Stable yields with moderate care.
• Cultivation Specifics: As a semi-determinate plant, it requires pruning control—timely thinning of clusters is necessary to ensure high-quality, large fruit development.

This variety is optimal for farmers focused on the "salad tomato" market and gardeners who appreciate a meaty fruit structure. While "Amishka" does not require overly complex agrotechnology, it responds well to consistent irrigation and fertilization, which is critical for maintaining fruit weights exceeding 200 grams.
