Garlic MANUJLIVSKY. Yariy

Stable yields with spring garlic from NAAS

The «Manuylivskyi» variety is a breeding product of the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the NAAS, designed for farms that prioritize predictability and long-term storage. Unlike winter varieties, this garlic shows excellent germination when planted in spring, allowing growers to meet market demand for high-quality produce by mid-summer.

Field Application and Agronomics

The practical choice for «Manuylivskyi» is driven by its biological strengths:

• Planting Window: Planting occurs in early spring as soon as soil conditions allow for machinery access. The variety efficiently utilizes spring moisture to establish a robust root system.
• Cultivation Intensity: The crop responds well to standard fertilization and irrigation schemes while maintaining sufficient immunity for mid-intensity farming technologies.
• Harvest and Logistics: The variety features uniform ripening, which simplifies mechanized harvesting and sorting — a critical factor for large-scale operations.

Why Choose «Manuylivskyi»

The primary value of this variety lies in its superior storage life. For commercial producers, this translates to the ability to defer sales until the market price peaks when supply typically dips. The cloves are dense with excellent market appeal, simplifying wholesale and retail distribution. Fully adapted to the climatic conditions of Ukraine, this variety eliminates the risks associated with imported hybrids that often require specific microclimates or excessive plant protection product inputs.
