Tomato 554/15

Miniature Gourmet Classics

The «554/15» tomato is a niche breeding product, designed for those who value aesthetics as much as yield. Unlike the vast majority of cherry tomatoes, which are round or oval, this variety stands out with a heart-shaped silhouette—a rare feature for small-fruited varieties. This unique geometry makes it an ideal choice for high-end culinary presentation and garnishing.

Agronomic Insights

As an indeterminate plant, it requires consistent staking and pruning, making it best suited for greenhouse or polytunnel cultivation.

• Each fruit weighs up to 20 grams, ensuring a high concentration of sugars and a rich, concentrated flavor profile.
• The heart shape, combined with a vibrant red color, gives the trusses a highly decorative appeal.
• The variety is sensitive to irrigation consistency: overwatering can cause the delicate skin to crack, which is its primary downside.

«554/15» is not intended for mass-market canning. Instead, it is a specialist's choice for fresh consumption, snacking, and culinary artistry. While it demands precise care, it rewards the grower with exceptional shelf appeal and a depth of flavor that far exceeds standard mass-market hybrids.
