Tomato RECTOR — a medium-late determinate variety, primarily intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses. The plant is spreading, medium-branched, and medium-leafy, reaching a height of over one meter. For proper formation and increased yield, it is recommended to tie the plants to stakes, as well as to pinch out suckers and pinch back above the third to fourth truss. Fruit ripening occurs approximately on day 120-123 after emergence of seedlings.
The fruits of tomato RECTOR are large, round or flat-round, with smooth red skin, weighing from 280 to 320 grams. They have excellent flavor and dense flesh, making them versatile for fresh consumption and processing. The variety is characterized by high yield — from one plant, you can harvest 3.5 to 4 kilograms of marketable fruits.
A special advantage of tomato RECTOR is its resistance to several common diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, fusarium, and cladosporiosis. This allows cultivation with minimal losses and reduces the need for intensive chemical protection. Thanks to these qualities and its large fruit size, the variety is popular among gardeners, private plots, and small farmers.
