Tomato COUPLET

Early-maturing performance for efficient crop cycles

The «Kuplet» tomato by Sedek is a specialized cultivar designed for growers who prioritize predictability and early harvest. With a maturation period of up to 90 days, this variety is an excellent choice for short-season climates, allowing producers to complete the harvest cycle before the onset of peak seasonal disease pressure or unfavorable weather conditions.

Advanced disease resistance

The primary advantage of the «Kuplet» variety in commercial farming is its robust genetic resistance to common pathogens. This reduces the need for frequent chemical treatments and protects the yield potential. The variety is specifically noted for its resistance to:

• Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV);
• Cladosporium (leaf mold);
• Various viral mosaic strains.

Operational benefits for farms

Developed by original breeders, including Alexey Mashtakov and Sergey Dubinin, these seeds provide consistent germination and uniform fruit development. For farm management, this simplifies harvesting and post-harvest handling. The variety fits well into intensive agricultural systems, responding positively to systematic nutrition and optimized irrigation. By integrating «Kuplet» into their crop rotation, growers can achieve stable early-market supply without the increased costs typically associated with high-maintenance, non-resistant varieties.
