The tomato variety Patris is an early-maturing, high-yielding variety developed by the All-Russian Research Institute of Vegetable Breeding and Seed Production. The plants are determinate, bush-type, reaching a height of 40-50 cm, and are characterized by weak suckering, which simplifies care and bush formation. The first flower node forms above the 6th-7th leaf, and subsequent nodes form every 1-2 leaves, promoting uniform fruit ripening.
The Patris tomato fruits are round, smooth, and firm, red in color, weighing 70-80 grams. They have a good flavor, with 5.2% dry matter and 2.4% total sugar in the juice. Due to their qualities, the fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and canning. After harvest, the tomatoes can be stored for up to 60 days, making this variety convenient for long-term use.
The Patris variety is distinguished by high cold tolerance and resistance to phytophthora, allowing it to be grown in open ground even under unfavorable climatic conditions. Yield reaches up to 7.2 kg per square meter, making this variety attractive for gardeners aiming to obtain an early and abundant harvest of quality tomatoes.
