Tomato variety 'Dachnik' belongs to early-maturing determinate plants, ripening on average in 97-105 days from germination to fruiting. Plants are compact, reaching a height of 50-60 cm, with a moderate number of leaves and medium-branching structure. The plant does not require pinching or staking, simplifying care and allowing cultivation both in open ground and in small greenhouses, on balconies and loggias. The variety is cold-resistant and resilient to adverse weather conditions, ensuring a stable yield even in risky agricultural zones and during dry periods. Tomatoes 'Dachnik' have a flat-round shape, weighing from 55 to 180 grams, with 4-5 chambers. They feature a uniform shape, rich red color, and excellent taste qualities, containing up to 5.6% dry matter. Due to the versatility of the fruit, they are widely used for fresh and winter salads, whole-fruit canning, as well as for making juices, purées, and sauces. The high yield of the variety reaches 3-3.5 kg per square meter, making it attractive for gardeners and tomato enthusiasts growing in limited conditions. For successful cultivation, seeds should be sown in seedbeds in early March, followed by transplanting into open ground in May. Although the variety is low-maintenance, disease prevention and fertilizer application are necessary to maintain plant health and maximize fruiting. The compact plant size and absence of need for pinching make variety 'Dachnik' convenient for cultivation both in rows and in limited spaces, which is especially valuable for urban gardeners and owners of small plots.
