Complice

Tomato variety Complice is a mid-early hybrid developed by German breeders of Bayer AG. The plant is strong, open, and balanced, with horizontal, long leaves and resistance to various diseases, including powdery mildew and viral infections. Due to the absence of a joint at the pedicel, fruits drop less, facilitating harvest in clusters. The variety is adapted for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including Kazakhstan, and is suitable for both open ground and greenhouses. Tomato Complice fruits have a round, slightly flattened shape, smooth surface, and deep red color both inside and out. Fruit weight ranges from 130 to 160 grams, with high uniformity and density. A distinctive feature of this variety is its consistently high sugar content (Brix), ensuring excellent taste even during late winter-early spring periods and under low light or elevated temperatures. The fruits are aesthetically pleasing and have high storability, making them convenient for storage and transport. Complice exhibits high productivity and resistance to a wide range of pathogens, including Bl:16-25,27,28,30-32, as well as intermediate resistance to two species of powdery mildew (Oidium neolycopersici and Leveillula taurica). The variety is less susceptible to blossom end rot and damage from pests such as Macrolophus.
