Lilos F1

Tomato Lilos F1 is an early, tall, indeterminate hybrid of Dutch selection by the company Rijk Zwaan. The ripening period is 90-95 days, allowing for quick harvest. The plant has a strong root system and a well-balanced open form, promoting steady growth and high productivity. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation under various conditions: open fields, polyethylene and glass greenhouses with or without emergency heating, as well as unheated greenhouses. It can be successfully grown in spring and late summer-autumn crops, and may be used in two crops. The fruits of tomato Lilos F1 have a round shape, uniform bright red color without green spot at the calyx, and their weight varies from 160 to 180 grams. Tomatoes are characterized by high density and glossy surface, ensuring excellent keeping quality during long-term transport and storage. The hybrid is resistant to cracking, further improving harvest quality. 6 to 9 fruits form on each cluster, which do not shrink throughout the season, even under stressful growing conditions such as drought or temperature drop. The distinctive feature of Lilos F1 is its high resistance to diseases, particularly nematodes and cladosporeiosis, reducing the need for chemical protection. The plant has strong clusters with short internodes that do not bend, facilitating care and harvest. Fruit harvesting is recommended by hand. Due to its characteristics, tomato Lilos F1 is widely used for salad and juice preparation, combining high yield, resistance to adverse conditions, and excellent taste qualities.
