Tomato Kurtino

Stable yields of large-fruited pink tomatoes

The Curtino tomato from the American breeding company Monsanto is a professional solution for those focused on marketability and consistent results. In the segment of indeterminate tomatoes, this hybrid occupies a niche of "heavyweights," where the balance between fruit weight and firmness is critical.

Key advantages

• Weight and shape: Consistently large fruits (over 200 grams) have a uniform round shape, distinguishing them from many pink-fruited varieties prone to deformation.
• Transportability: The main challenge with pink tomatoes is their softness. Monsanto’s breeders solved this by achieving excellent skin firmness without sacrificing the delicate flavor of the flesh.
• Early maturity: A ripening period of up to 90 days allows for planning sequential supply to the market during optimal timeframes.

Curtino is ideal for commercial farms supplying fresh produce to supermarkets. Due to its indeterminate growth type, the plant requires intensive cultivation, staking, and pruning; however, the yield per square meter justifies the investment. If you are looking for a hybrid that will not "leak" during transit while maintaining sweetness and an attractive pink color, this variety will become a core asset for your operation.
