Appetitnye Shchechki

Tomato variety "Appetitnye Shchekki" is a new bicolor beef tomato of medium maturity type with a period from emergence to fruiting of about 110-115 days. This indeterminate variety is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, plastic covers, and open ground. Plants form a tall bush, which is recommended to be trained into a single stem with removal of suckers and lower leaves for better air circulation and lighting. Sowing in seedlings is done at the beginning of March, transplanting — in the phase of the first true leaf, and planting in greenhouses — in May at a spacing of 40x60 cm. At the end of the vegetative period, the growth point is pinched to stimulate fruiting.

The fruits of tomato "Appetitnye Shchekki" are large, flat-round, weighing 200 to 350 grams, with bright and unusual coloring. Ripe tomatoes have a yellow-orange color with red stripes and a purple bloom on the shoulders, the intensity of which depends on sunlight. The flesh is juicy, fleshy, sweet, without acidity, with a pleasant citrus aftertaste. In cross-section, the flesh is orange with a pink center, giving the tomatoes an attractive appearance and making them ideal for fresh consumption.

The variety is characterized by good yield — up to 11-12 kg per square meter, as well as high marketability and transportability. Fruit production is prolonged and stable even under adverse weather conditions. Thanks to its flavor qualities and striking coloration, tomatoes "Appetitnye Shchekki" are perfect for preparing aromatic summer salads and vibrant vegetable garnishes. Seeds retain viability up to 10 years under proper storage, allowing their use over a long period.
