Yunona

The "YUNONA" variety belongs to meadow timothy (Phleum pratense L.) and was developed by the Leningrad Research Institute of Agriculture "Belogorka". It is characterized by hexaploid genetics, which ensures plant resilience and increased productivity. During trials in the region, dry matter yield reached 32.7 c/ha, exceeding the standard average by 2.5 c/ha.

Plants of the "YUNONA" variety have an upright or semi-upright growth habit. Leaves are dark green and of medium width, while the stem is short and of medium length. Inflorescences emerge at average sowing dates; their height is also within the medium range for this species. The flag leaf is narrow in shape but retains sufficient length.

The variety demonstrates high resistance to diseases and low damage from grain moth. Thanks to these characteristics, "YUNONA" is suitable both for feed production and use as decorative landscape material. Its stable productivity and ease of care make it a popular choice among farmers and gardeners.
