Sweet pea Prince

Growth Architecture: Technical Profile of the 'Prince' Hybrid

The 'Prince' Sweet Pea, developed by 'Vashe Hozyaistvo', is a selection engineered specifically for intensive vertical landscaping. With a potential height of 150–200 cm, this cultivar serves as a structural tool for garden zoning, requiring precise support systems to maximize its growth cycle.

Agrotechnical Insights

• Structural Dynamics: As an indeterminate climbing plant, 'Prince' relies on the stability of its support structure. To achieve its full 2-meter potential, heavy-duty netting or tensioned trellises are recommended to manage the load of the dense foliage against wind resistance.
• Climatic Adaptation: The breeding process, led by Vladimir Farber and Elena Smirnova, prioritized consistency. This hybrid maintains stable growth patterns despite temperature fluctuations, which is crucial for uniform vertical coverage.
• Olfactory Profile: The cultivar features a moderate fragrance level. This provides a balanced sensory experience—noticeable and pleasant, yet subtle enough for comfortable outdoor living near the planting site.

Practical Application in Design

The engineering of vertical green walls with 'Prince' requires strict adherence to planting density. A spacing of 20–30 cm between plants is essential to facilitate airflow, which acts as a natural preventative measure against powdery mildew and other common legume-related pathogens. By ensuring proper ventilation, you maintain the health of the foliage from the base to the terminal bud.

Backed by the breeding expertise of the 'Vashe Hozyaistvo' team and protected by patent holder OOO 'Hardvik', this hybrid offers predictable results for both amateur and professional gardeners. When planning your layout, treat 'Prince' as a structural element that requires reliable hardware support to showcase its full vertical potential.
