Sweet pea BEZUSY SNUPI

Efficient Vertical Landscaping with «Bezusy Snupi»

The «Bezusy Snupi» (Beardless Snoopy) sweet pea is a variety developed by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing. Its primary utility for landscape designers and private growers lies in its compact, non-climbing habit. By eliminating the typical tendrils, this variety simplifies maintenance and allows for the creation of neat, vertical structures without the usual tangle of stems.

Practical Applications in the Garden

• Beautifying Structures: The variety is exceptionally well-suited for covering gazebos, pergolas, and garden arches, offering a clean, sophisticated look without excessive biomass.
• Zoning with Living Screens: Because of its manageable growth, this sweet pea is perfect for creating low-maintenance screens to divide garden zones while maintaining an open feel.
• Fencing and Boundary Improvement: It effectively hides old fences or utility areas, transforming plain boundaries into lush, vibrant displays of color.

The variety features a beautiful color palette ranging from crisp white to vibrant red and deep purple, making it a versatile tool for both monochromatic themes and mixed floral arrangements. Whether used in small containers or larger beds, it serves as a reliable decorative element.

Cultivation and Care

While the variety is labeled as "beardless," it still benefits significantly from artificial support to guide its growth. For optimal performance, provide garden netting or wire guides to keep the stems upright. The plant is generally undemanding but rewards the gardener with prolonged and profuse flowering when provided with consistent moisture and fertile soil. Selecting a sunny location is essential to maximize the intensity of the colors and the density of the blooms throughout the season.
