Sweet Corn ZHY1253OZ

Premium Grain Quality and Operational Efficiency

Working with the Snowy River Seeds ZH-1253OZ hybrid, it becomes clear that it is engineered for professional consistency. With a cob placement height of 70-80 cm, the plant is perfectly suited for mechanized harvesting, ensuring minimal loss during the process. The total plant height of 180-190 cm provides excellent structural stability against wind loads, which is essential for SHY (super-sweet) corn types where lodging can lead to significant yield degradation.

Agronomic Profile and Performance

• Maturity: The 95-100 day cycle puts this hybrid in a late-season segment, ideal for sequential harvest planning.
• Cob Morphology: A length of 25-30 cm with 16-18 rows of kernels ensures high commercial appeal and superior marketability.
• Endosperm Type: The SHY genetic base delivers an exceptional sugar content, making it a standout product for the fresh market.

Versatility and Processing

The strength of the ZH-1253OZ lies in its adaptability. Unlike some delicate super-sweet varieties, this hybrid maintains cob integrity during harvest and processing. For canning operations, the kernel retains its shape and texture, avoiding the mushiness often associated with lower-quality varieties. When it comes to deep-frozen cob production, it remains one of the most reliable choices due to its robust yield and uniform kernel development. For farm managers, it is a low-stress crop that responds predictably to irrigation and standard nutrient management, consistently delivering high volumes of premium-grade produce.
