Description Glamour
Sweet corn hybrid 'Glamour' is a fast-maturing variety, reaching technical maturity in 74 to 84 days after emergence, and biological maturity in 100 to 106 days. This variety is characterized by high yield and product quality: at the first harvest, it yields 80-90% marketable ears, with a clean ear yield of 80-86%, and grain content reaching 58-62%. Total sugar content in the kernels ranges from 3.8% to 5.9%, ensuring high taste quality rated at 4.6 points.

The ears are medium-sized, cylindrical, measuring 17 to 17.6 cm in length and 4.0-4.1 cm in diameter. They contain 12 rows of kernels, sometimes up to 14, with a white core and yellow-orange kernels. The lower ear is attached to the stem at a height of 32 cm, facilitating convenient mechanical harvesting. The variety is versatile and suitable for various uses, including industrial processing and fresh consumption.

'Glamour' stands out not only for its high productivity, achieving clean ear yields of 10.0-11.5 tons per hectare, but also for its resistance to mechanical harvesting, making it attractive to farmers and agribusinesses. Thanks to its balanced combination of fast maturity, high sugar content, and excellent taste characteristics, this variety is an optimal choice for growing sweet corn under various climatic conditions.
