Delicate

Sweet corn variety "Delicate" is a medium-maturing and popular among gardeners and farmers variety with a vegetation period from 70 to 83 days. The plant is medium-height, reaching 140-160 cm, prefers warm conditions and requires regular watering, poorly tolerating temperatures below 12 °C. The ears have a conical or slightly cylindrical shape, 14 to 26 cm long and weighing 170 to 230 g. The kernels are creamy or bright yellow, juicy and very sweet, providing a high taste rating for the variety.

This variety is versatile in use: it is recommended for boiling, canning, and freezing. Due to its excellent taste and juiciness, sweet corn "Delicate" is suitable for various culinary purposes, including baking. To obtain fresh ears throughout the summer, it is recommended to sow seeds 3-4 times with an interval of 10-15 days.

Growing sweet corn "Delicate" does not require special skills, however, it is important to observe planting times — in the second half of spring, when the soil has warmed to a temperature not lower than +12 °C and the threat of frost has passed. Light, fertile soils with added fertilizers are considered optimal for improved growth. Harvesting occurs in August-September, and the crop is characterized by high yield and good fruit preservation.
