DN Sybarit

DN Sybarit is an early-maturing three-line hybrid sweet corn with FAO 190, intended for grain production. The plant reaches a height of 230-250 cm, has a cylindrical ear 21-23 cm long with 16-18 rows of kernels and a red cob. Kernels are yellow, dent-type, with a 1000-kernel weight of 270-280 g and a grain yield of 80-81%. The hybrid features a strong anthocyanic stalk, disease and pest resistance, rapid spring development, and high resistance to late frosts. It is particularly well-adapted to the forest-steppe and Polissia regions, but also successfully grown in the Steppe. DN Sybarit exhibits good moisture release during harvest (13-14%) and high potential grain yield, reaching 10.7-11.5 t/ha across various regions of Ukraine. Recommended plant population varies by cultivation zone: 60,000/ha in the Steppe, 80,000/ha in the Forest-Steppe, and 90,000/ha in Polissia. Seeds are treated with fungicide (Maxim XL), which contributes to disease protection. For increased yield, it is recommended to also treat with insecticide seed treatments and growth stimulators. The hybrid has a remontant growth type, ensuring stable yield and high adaptability to climatic conditions, including heat and drought. Due to its strong stalk and resistance to lodging, harvesting can be performed at optimal grain moisture without risk of quality loss. DN Sybarit is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high and stable sweet corn grain yields across various agro-climatic zones of Ukraine.
