Sweet Corn Berkut

Berkut Corn (SCG 9267 F1) is an ultra-early hybrid of super sweet corn with a maturation period of 64-66 days. The plants reach a height of 160-180 cm, and the closed cob is dark green in color. The size of the open cob varies from 18 to 21 cm in length with an average diameter of 45 mm. The corn kernels are a rich dark yellow color and rectangular in shape, with a high sugar content of 18-20%, which ensures a juicy and very sweet taste without a starchy aftertaste. Due to these qualities, the hybrid is excellent for fresh consumption and processing. The Berkut hybrid is distinguished by high disease resistance, particularly to helminthosporiosis, which contributes to crop stability and reduced costs for plant protection. The recommended sowing rate is 40-45 thousand plants per hectare without irrigation and 50-70 thousand per hectare when using irrigation, which is optimal for the conditions of southern Russia. The storage duration of cobs at 18-20°C reaches two weeks, allowing to maintain product quality until realization. Thanks to its exceptional characteristics, such as earliness, high adaptability, and excellent grain quality, Berkut F1 is a profitable choice for farmers seeking to obtain a rich and stable harvest of super sweet corn. This hybrid combines high profitability and minimal cultivation costs, making it a real treasure for agricultural production.
