Description Viri
Sunflower Viri is a high-quality hybrid developed through joint selection by Ukrainian and Serbian specialists. This hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to adverse weather conditions such as drought and sudden frosts, as well as to parasitic weeds, particularly dodder. Thanks to these characteristics, Viri ensures a stable and high yield even under challenging climatic conditions in Ukraine.

Viri sunflower seeds undergo careful calibration using modern equipment, eliminating the presence of empty and shriveled seeds. They are sorted into standard and extra fractions by size, allowing optimal selection of planting material for various cultivation technologies. The seeds are suitable for any seeders and are sown at a rate of 2.2-2.4 units per hectare. To protect against diseases, seeds are treated with a three-component fungicide mixture at the initial stage, promoting healthy and strong plants.

The Viri hybrid also features high oil content in the seeds — from 50 to 52% — making it attractive to processors. It is resistant to herbicides of the imidazolinone group and is suitable for Clearfield cultivation technology. Yield potential reaches 58 centners per hectare, confirming its effectiveness and economic benefit for farmers. Thus, sunflower Viri is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve a high-quality yield under variable climatic conditions.
