VB 701 is a mid-early hybrid of oilseed sunflower with high drought tolerance and adapted for cultivation in Steppe and Forest-Steppe conditions. The vegetation period is 105-110 days, allowing for a stable yield under various climatic conditions. Plants reach a height of 170-180 cm, which contributes to good development and high productivity of the crop.

The hybrid is characterized by high oil content in seeds - from 47 to 49%, making it attractive for sunflower oil production. Hull content is at the level of 21-23%, which facilitates crop processing. VB 701 differs in resistance to lodging and rust, as well as protection against sunflower moth, which reduces crop losses and improves product quality.

For effective cultivation, the use of insurance herbicides Euro-Lang or Euro-Land is recommended, which ensure the destruction of all strains of sunflower rust.
