Common sunflower Ukrainian Early Maturing

Efficiency and Rapid Cycle: The 'Ukrainsky Skorospely' Experience

Operating with the 'Ukrainsky Skorospely' hybrid from VNIS offers a distinct advantage for those prioritizing early harvests. With a growing season of just 80–90 days, it allows you to clear the fields before the autumn rains set in, making it a perfect precursor for winter crops. For the operator, the plant height of 100–110 cm is ideal; it means less crop residue passing through the header, resulting in better separation efficiency and lower fuel consumption during harvesting.

Built-in Phytosanitary Defense

The true value of this hybrid lies in its genetic resilience. Managing diseases is usually a high-cost overhead, but with this variety, the need for intensive fungicide applications is significantly reduced. It stands its ground against:

• Sclerotinia and White Rot, which typically devastate crops in humid climates.
• Gray Rot and Phomopsis, providing a reliable barrier against common field stressors.
• Sunflower Broomrape, ensuring that land quality remains protected.
• Peronospora: The variety shows robust resistance, keeping the plantation green and healthy throughout the season.

Oil Content and Economic Return

When you check the output during the harvest, the result is clear: an oil content of 50–55%. This is the kind of quality that draws premium prices at the elevator. Because of its ultra-early maturity, the crop reaches optimal moisture levels quickly, minimizing drying costs. The stalks are sturdy and resistant to lodging, which eases the load on the combine and ensures that you collect every seed the plant has produced, maximizing your total yield efficiency.
