Sunflower Tibo

Stable yields in tight timeframes

The breeding work of the company "Terra-Yug Ukraine" is aimed at creating hybrids adapted to the climatic realities of the steppe and forest-steppe zones. The "Tibo" sunflower hybrid is an ultra-early representative of modern genetics, which allows farmers to significantly optimize the logistics of the harvesting campaign.

Biological potential and parameters

A vegetation period of 80–90 days makes "Tibo" an ideal tool for late sowing, reseeding of damaged fields, or operation in regions with a short warm season. With a plant height of 160–170 cm, the hybrid demonstrates excellent lodging resistance, which is critical during intense rainfall or strong winds. The high oil content potential (50–55%) places this hybrid in the premium segment regarding the quality of the raw material obtained.

Phytosanitary shield

One of the key features of "Tibo" is its complex field resistance to pathogens that most frequently affect crops in Ukraine. The genetic barrier of the breeding process provides protection against:

• White and gray mold;
• Downy mildew;
• Phomopsis and Phoma;
• Powdery mildew.

This set of qualities minimizes the costs of fungicide treatments, allowing for high profitability under standard cultivation technologies.

Market niche

In the Ukrainian market, "Tibo" occupies the niche of a universal solution for farms focused on rapid capital turnover. Due to its short development cycle, the plant manages to reach its potential before the peak dry periods of August, which distinguishes it favorably from mid-season and late-maturing groups. It is a reliable choice for those who value predictable results and the purity of the future harvest.
