Description Tiger
Sunflower Tiger is a mid-season linoleic hybrid specially developed for cultivation using the herbicide Granstar containing tribenuron-methyl. The vegetative period is 108-112 days, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to various climatic conditions in Ukraine. The maximum recommended herbicide dosage is 50 g per hectare, ensuring effective weed control without damage to the crop.

Hybrid Tiger exhibits high resistance to race A-G of downy mildew, as well as to new races of powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. It shows exceptional drought tolerance and resilience to extreme temperatures, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable weather conditions. Moreover, Tiger is resistant to lodging and can well tolerate dense planting, allowing optimal plant density of 55,000-60,000 plants per hectare before harvest.

The yield potential of the hybrid reaches 55-58 centners per hectare, with oil content in seeds reaching up to 52%. High oil content and stable productivity make Tiger profitable for cultivation both on large-scale industrial farms and on farms. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, this sunflower hybrid is an excellent choice for efficient and sustainable production of oilseed crops in various climatic zones of Ukraine.
