TFI 3907 A is a high-oleic sunflower hybrid, characterized by its high content of monounsaturated fatty acid oleic acid, reaching up to 95%. Due to this, it stands out favorably compared to traditional oilseed crops and sunflower, offering improved oil quality. The high oleic acid content contributes to a significant amount of natural antioxidants, particularly vitamin E, positively affecting health and extending oil storage life. Moreover, frying and processing oil from this sunflower produces minimal amounts of harmful trans fats. The TFI 3907 A hybrid is adapted for cultivation under drought conditions and suitable for semi-intensive and extensive cultivation technologies in Steppe and Southern Forest-Steppe regions. It demonstrates high yield and oil content, with potential yields up to 50 centners per hectare and oil content in seeds ranging from 51% to 55%. The recommended seeding rate varies depending on soil moisture: 45–50 thousand seeds per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 55–60 thousand seeds per hectare under adequate moisture. The hybrid is resistant to races of downy mildew A-F, as well as highly resistant to diseases such as fusarium, fusariosis, gray and white mold, and false powdery mildew. In addition, seeds of this sunflower have a long storage life, four times longer than that of conventional varieties. This makes TFI 3907 A an advantageous choice for producers, especially in arid regions, where it can be used not only for oil production but also as raw material for biodiesel production. High quality and resilience make this hybrid promising for cultivation under various agroclimatic conditions.
