Sunflower SUNATO is a semi-intensive hybrid developed using Clearfield Plus technology, providing resistance to the imidazolinone group (IMI) and tolerance to the Euro-Lightning system. This hybrid is highly adaptable to various climatic and soil conditions, including steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow zones. The maturity period is approximately 105 days, which falls into the mid-early category, and the plant height reaches 160 cm, with a flower head diameter of 18-20 cm.
SUNATO has a high yield potential, reaching 56-58 ц/ha, while the average actual yield is around 37-40 ц/ha. The oil content of the seeds ranges from 50-52%, making this hybrid attractive for oil production. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including rust, false powdery mildew, frogepsis, white and gray rot, with resistance ratings from 6 to 9 points, as well as very high drought tolerance.
To achieve maximum productivity, foliar feeding during specific growth stages is recommended. The first feeding is applied at the 3-4 leaf pair stage using fertilizers containing boron, nitrogen, amino acids, growth stimulators, and potassium humates. The second feeding is performed at the 6-8 leaf pair stage to support flower head pollination and seed filling. This comprehensive approach to cultivation allows the full potential of the SUNATO hybrid to be realized and ensures a stable high yield.
