SUPPORTER SU

Sunflower SUPPORTER SU is a mid-season hybrid adapted for cultivation using sulfur technology (SU), ensuring high yield and oil content even under drought conditions. This hybrid is recommended for cultivation in semi-intensive and extensive conditions in the Steppe and Southern Forest-Steppe regions, where it demonstrates stable yields up to 50 ц/ha and oil content in seeds at 51-55%. Sowing rates vary depending on soil moisture: 45-50 thousand seeds per hectare are recommended under insufficient moisture, while 55-60 thousand/ha under adequate moisture.

SUPPORTER SU exhibits high resistance to a wide range of diseases, including fomosis, fomopsidiosis, gray and white mold, false powdery mildew, as well as to races of Alternaria A-F. The hybrid also shows resistance to lodging and is insensitive to rust and Alternaria pathogens, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. Due to its morphobiological characteristics, such as average flowering time and relatively low plant height, it is convenient for agronomic management and suitable for various climatic conditions.

To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to observe optimal sowing dates and use the Express® technology for weed control. Soil fertilization should be conducted according to maximum yield potential. The hybrid is successfully used in regions with water deficit, as evidenced by yields ranging from 28.4–43.6 ц/ha across various regions of Ukraine.
