SG 34 is a high-yielding sunflower hybrid with comprehensive resistance to major diseases and pests, including the A-F strains of the sunflower moth and false powdery mildew. It is characterized by high initial growth energy, a strong root system, and sturdy stems, ensuring resistance to lodging and adaptation to various climatic conditions, including arid regions. The hybrid is highly adaptable and can be successfully grown under intensive agrotechnologies involving growth stimulators and fertilizers. SG 34 achieves high yields of up to 55 centners per hectare and contains a high oil content in seeds — from 48 to 50%. It is suitable for treatment with imidazolin herbicides and the herbicide Express, which simplifies weed control and enhances crop efficiency. Due to its genetic resistance to new strains of downy mildew and false powdery mildew, the hybrid maintains stable yields even under adverse conditions. This sunflower is recommended for cultivation across various regions of Ukraine, including Central, Western, Northern, and intensive Southern areas. Its high drought tolerance and adaptability make SG 34 a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality, high-oil yield.
