Sunflower APSF 32

Working with APSF 32

Choosing a sunflower hybrid from Apsovsementi S.P.A. like "APSF 32" is a strategic decision for those focused on high yields in weed-prone fields.

Crop Protection and Management

The main highlight of APSF 32 is its resistance to imidazolinone herbicides (the "Euro-Lightning" technology). In practice, this means clean fields without the need for additional mechanical cultivation. You apply the herbicide during the vegetation stage, and the crop continues to grow while effectively suppressing competitors. This is crucial for large-scale operations where fuel and labor costs are major factors.

Harvesting and Performance

The plants reach a height of 180–190 cm, which is an ideal parameter for modern combine headers. The stalk height allows for a clean harvest without excessive soil intake, while the head is dense enough to prevent premature shattering. Based on experience, the oil content of 45–50% is consistently confirmed by lab tests, which directly impacts market price and profitability.

• Stability: The genetics developed by Maurizio Lottari ensure excellent adaptation to environmental stresses.
• Efficiency: The Euro-Lightning protection system minimizes crop loss risks from weeds.
• Output: High oil content makes this hybrid highly attractive to processing plants.

Field maintenance for APSF 32 is straightforward and doesn't require unnecessary complications. If you are looking for a reliable tool to produce high-quality oilseeds with predictable protection costs, APSF 32 is a solid investment.
