The oil content in the seeds reaches 50-52%, making this hybrid particularly valuable for oilseed production. The vegetative period is 112-115 days, allowing its use in various climatic zones, such as steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow. The plants of the 'SAMSON' hybrid are characterized by high drought resistance and strong wind resistance, ensuring stable yields up to 57 centners per hectare. The stem height can reach 210 cm, and the head diameter is about 21 cm. The seeds have an average size, with a 1000-seed weight of 65 grams. The hybrid has a high level of self-pollination, which is especially important in regions with low natural pollinator populations. The recommended plant density varies depending on moisture conditions: 50-55 thousand plants per hectare in areas with insufficient moisture and up to 60 thousand in areas with sufficient moisture. A distinctive feature of the hybrid is its compatibility with the herbicide 'Granstar', applied at a rate of up to 50 g/ha, which has a rapid half-life in soil and does not restrict crop rotation of subsequent crops. High resistance to root rot and the hybrid's plasticity make it a profitable choice for agricultural production. Thanks to these characteristics, 'SAMSON' is a reliable and high-yielding sunflower, adapted to various agroclimatic conditions.
