Description SAMUEL
SAMUEL is a high-yielding French sunflower hybrid developed by Maisadour Semences. It is adapted for cultivation under various conditions, including different soil types and treatments, and is characterized by high resistance to stress factors such as drought, cold, and diseases. The vegetation period is 112-115 days, and plant height reaches 170-178 cm. Seeds are certified and supplied in bags, ensuring quality and ease of use.

The SAMUEL hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including fusarium, sclerotinia, and seven aggressive strains of downy mildew (A-G+). Thanks to its robust root system and even seed spacing, the plant demonstrates stable and high yields, reaching 40-56 centners per hectare. The seed head size is approximately 25 cm, slightly tilted, and the oil content in seeds reaches 51%, making this hybrid attractive for oilseed production.

The seeding unit weighs between 8.0 and 10.3 kg and contains approximately 150,000 seeds. The hybrid shows high tolerance to lodging and ensures uniform seed spacing, facilitating agronomic operations. SAMUEL is suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions, providing stable and high yields with minimal risk, making it a profitable choice for farmers.
